The Grand Difference

I have worked with Grand and found them to be professional, caring, fair, timely and above all they understand what makes a restaurant successful. They have always been the perfect partner in launching many successful restaurants.

Operations Efficiency Starts with a Great Design

Our restaurant and kitchen designs are one-of-a-kind. Each design is created to meet the unique needs of the project considering space, concept, menu, workflow and budget. Our three-phase process will transform your vision into a reality.

Consultation: We begin by understanding your concept and the unique factors that will make your project a success. We can meet you onsite if that would be helpful. We will prepare a basic set of floor plans for front-of-house, kitchen or both. And we'll deliver a short schedule with equipment tags. You'll have the basics you need for initial discussions with your contractor.

Detail Design: Working together with the basic design, we will finalize your plan and begin to integrate the detail. We will produce a preliminary utility schedule, elevations, food service specifications, and a preliminary equipment budget.

Final Design: The final phase of our design services provides exacting plans that include equipment tags and point-of-connection, both with schedules, final food service specifications, rough-ins, and elevations. These plans provide the general contractor with the information required to ensure that each equipment location is properly sized and constructed and serviced with the appropriate utility.

Every day, we work with restaurateurs, architects, interior designers, and contractors from across the country, where we share with them our knowledge of kitchen operations, workflow, equipment, and regulatory requirements. Together, we have crafted some of the country's most efficient and cost-effective operations.
